News out of Memphis today suggests that starting point guard Darius Washington wants one more shot at the NCAA title before entering the NBA. Sources report Washington saying "I want to win a NCAA title, I wont be happy with myself if we dont". The Tigers are currently 3-5 and a title seems very far fetched at this point in time.
Projected to be a B B- B- C- D+ B type of player, the news of Washington's possible departure from the draft may hit home for many of the leagues rebuilding teams, especially those looking for a point guard.
ESPN beleives the move was a strategic one. Chad Ford was reported saying "It was simply strategic. There are 3 better point guards in this draft (Felton, Mayes, Rodriguez). Because of them, his chances of falling in the lottery seem slim." Even with that, Ford added, "I think the move is a good one if he does go back though. He needs to work on his defense before he can really become a force in the UBL".
The news has yet to be confirmed, and as the story breaks, more information will be relayed onto the public and GM's of the UBL.

I talked to Darius Washington today, he said "After hearing what a lot of GM's ha to say about a rumour, I may stay in college for one more year and improve my skills, including my defense. If I cant guard Dash, then I cant even guard my own shadow I guess".
