Above are the possible ratings that may be given to 7'1" Ante Tomic. I'm very excited about this guy for two reasons.
A) His ratings are very Dirk-like. At 7'1", Ante may possibly be graced with a C+ outside shot that over a succesful career could end up being A- to a B+. He has C+ handles and great defensive awareness, not to mention solid rebounding skills.
and
B) He will enter the league at only 18 years of age. This young age will either give him time to bloom into one of the leagues best or faulter even before he sets foot onto a UBL court.
Ante has been playing above his age group all of his life, so playing against bigger bodies is only natrul. Only one problem may arise to the drafter of this stellar young player and that is his contract with European club Zagreb. He is still 3 years into contract and in order for him to be released, the UBL team will have to buy him out (which will mean you doubling his salary on each year of his contract). If a buy out isnt on the cards, then Ante will simply have to miss the first 2 years of his UBL career sitting on the IR.
