Talent for Cap

On Wed afternoon newly aquired Ben Wallace was traded once again to the raptors. In the last week Wallace was traded from the pistons to the lakers, the lakers to the kings, and now the kings to the raptors. In doing so, the kings traded a allstar defensive beast in ben wallace and good player in James Posey, and many bad contracts for many expirings, the biggest being sharp shooter Allen Houston. Most think that the knigs got raped in the deal but look at the whole situation.

The knigs had youth promise with Dwash, Gordon, Okafor, and Frye, and many bad contracts including anthony johnson, erice snow, scalabrine, brain cardinal, donyell marshall, and jerome james.

A week later all of those bad contract were on different teams and got expring in exchange. Many dont think that players will not come to kings, but if a young SF and PG will sign to the kings they will have a youthful solid team with no bad contracts for the years to come.

With 30 million in cap space this offseason, someone will add to the youth movement and add to the success.

You've traded some of the best players in the league for the team you have right now. I don't understand why...

i had francis davis pierce gooden and magloire with no depth....and was a 8th seed.

im rebuildin and have a shit load of cap and only 3games under .500.
Im about the same team record wise, and will get alot better from FA and im gunna be much younger....so i dont see where u r coming from

What I'm saying is, you could've been in a better position than you are right now if you were more patient with your trades. You're too eager to pull the trigger, and you got the short end on most of your deals.

Francis alone could've gotten you some nice youth and picks to go along with expiring. Paul Pierce would've gotten you a shitload of young talent....Magloire could've gotten you a nice young player (I got McCants, Dwyane Jones and expiring for him). Also, Gooden and Ricky Davis could've gotten you draft picks.

Now you only have Okafor and Ben Gordon as legit youth to build around. Channing Frye, Rafael Araujo, Marcus Banks and Raul Lopez are backup players. It's nice for depth I guess, but they're not going to do much for you. You also don't have your first round pick for the next 3 years. I don't like the direction you're going in. Sure you have cap, but that may not do much for you. Look at my team...I had 35 mil in cap, and came outta Free Agency with Kerry Kittles and Glenn Robinson.
