i agree because with tj, i have no need for francis, who is in his 30s and still has alot of years and money left on his contract. plus nene and arvydas r both expirings and if they dont fit, i get some cap relief
if i need to make roster space, cut some of the scrubs i signed at the beginning of the year to fill my roster

i actually like this deal for the Nets IF they could of got Paul Harris in it i would of LOVED it for them but have you seen francis contract

I agree. Nice dealing. I was just looking to get some value for that. I mean those guys wont do anything for me and Francis will plus he improved. Nice dealing man.

At the end of the day getting Steve Francis for expiring and that is great. I wouldnt have any cap space because guess what I have to re-sign Serigo. So getting Steve Francis for stuff I wouldnt use is great to me looking at my situation. I wont have cap for a longtime with all the young talent I have so meh cap space means nothing and to Dru get another PG? I would jump at getting anything for this type of deal which is what Insane is trying to say. I wouldnt have any cap space this year and no solid player to show for it. Plus I have probably the best set of young studs to develop in Paul Harris, Eric Gordon, Alexis, Serigo, Dwight Howard and Martell Webster. WORD. |
