Name: Greg Oden Jr.
Position: Center
Height: 7'0"
Weight: 245
Comments: Herladed as the best player to enter a draft since LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal . . . Will immediatly make an impact in the UBL . . . A strong defender who can rebound aswell as put points in the whole . . . Has somewhat of a decent jump shot however it needs work . . . Obviously has no three point range . . . Is labeled by some as 'turnover prone' . . . The consensus number 1 pick.
Projected Ratings: B+ D+ D+ B+ B- A
Best Case / Worst Case: Shaquille O'Neal / DeSanga Diop
Name: Wayne Ellington
Position: Shooting Guard
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 190
Comments: Could be described as "undersized" for a shooting guard . . . Posseses an un-rivaled jump shot and 3 point shot . . . Not a great anticipator of the ball as he tends to gamble, however when in control is one of the best on ball defenders in the draft . . . Can make bad decisions with the ball although he is incredibly quick.
Projected Ratings: B- B- C+ B C- A
Best Case / Worst Case: Allen Iverson / Tony Delk
Name: Ante Tomic
Position: Power Forward
Height: 7'2"
Weight: 237
Comments: A very well rounded player who knows the fundamentals of basketball . . . Is weak with the ball, however that characteristic is common with European players . . . Will enter the draft at only 18 and in his first two seasons will be at a height/weight/experience disadvantage . . . European prospects either explode or bust, will you gamble?
Projected Ratings: C+ C+ C+ C+ C A
Best Case / Worst Case: Poor Mans Dirk Nowitzki / Darko Millicic
Name: Brandon Wright
Position: Power Forward
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 210
Comments: A very skinny and lanky player, very similar to a young Kevin Garnett . . . . A very good passer for a power forward . . . Has a decent jump shot with an almost impossible fade away jump shot . . . Needs to pack on some pounds before he becomes a serious, down low, powerful post threat.
Projected Ratings: B C C+ B C+ B
Best Case / Worst Case: Lamar Odom / Poor Mans Lamar Odom
Name: Earl Clark
Position: Point Guard
Height:
Weight:
Comments: A very, very intregeing prospect . . . Has the best handles from a rookie since Jason Kidd . . . A very strong player, who uses his height well against smaller point guards . . . A pass first point guard who has little outside game and three point shot . . . A stellar rebounder for a point guard.
Projected Ratings: C+ C- A- B C+ A
Best Case / Worst Case: Poor Mans Magic Johnson / Rookie Shaun Livingston
Victor Claver has the ability to develop into one of the leagues finest young European prospects as he posses a quite noticeable all round game along side un matchable work ethic . . . "He is an amazing defender, he reminds me of Ben Wallace to an extent, with an offensive game. He is scary, one of my guys told me he isnt taking the ball into the key when we play them (Florida)" - A NCAA Coach talking about Al Horford . . . A very athletic 7 footer is Jason Smith. Not only does he have a soft touch, however he is a great passer of the ball in and out of the post . . . Daniel Gibson is a great passer of the ball and a flashy ball handler however has been known to turn the ball over a lot. A decent jump sht and good at getting into the lane, a top 10 prospect definetly . . . At 6'7", Ernest Kalve posseses a lethal 3 point shot . . . Lets just say that Rajan Rondo's ratings do not reflect how good of a ball handler he is. He also needs to put on more weight before he will be able to take the ball into the lane in the UBL . . . Josh McRoberts sure can fly for a 6'10" white boy. Oh, and he has decent handles for a big man too . . . Mardy Collins posseses a very deadly all round game. The 6'6" PG/SG is a great defender with a sweet outside game . . . Not much is known about Nick Fazekas, however scouts who have seen him play beleive he is a very well rounded power forward . . . Marcus Williams, the 6'2" guard from Connecticut is a great scorer and very quick, he can read the play however like most of the guards in this draft turns the ball over a lot. His defense has also been questioned, however his ability to score hasnt . . . Not much is known about Semih Erden except he is 7'0", 18 and Turkish . . . Nick Youngs offensive game is very balance and on the verge of being great. If he lives up to his potential, he could bea nice 15ppg scorer in his rookie season . . . Damir Markota is a 6'10" small forward from Europe who is surprisingly athletic with a nice touch from beyond the arc. His defense is another story though . . . Unlike many of his fellow draftee point guards, Jordan Farmer knows how to keep control of the ball and dish it away when needed, an excellent point guard prospect who may fall down the ranks to a team at around 20-24.
