With this years draft class classified as 'weak' by many including the leagues primary scout, a new addition to the class of 2009 has been voiced earlier this week.
An almost certanty to enter during the 2007 season, 7'0", 225 pound Italian Andrea Bargnani has finally declared himself eligable for the upcoming draft. Offers from other European clubs kept him away from the UBL, however his talent level has reached its peak and Bargnani along with his agent beleive it is time for him to enter the big league.
After averaging a league best 28.9ppg in the Italian league and taking out MVP honours, expect Bargnani to push American Bill Walker for the second spot in the draft. Coming out at 23 may be his only weakness, however rookie ratings of B B C+ C+ C+ C may ease the pain.
