Top Asian draftee Kim Jin Soo is facing contract problems with his Chineese National League basketball club, the Shanxi Dragons. Jin Soo, entering the league with C+ B C+ C+ C B ratings is an expected lottery pick and many sources beleive the strings attahced to drafting him may be to high.
According to sources close to FIBA, the team that drafts Kim Jin Soo will have 2 options. Either let Kim Jin Soo sit out for 2 seasons on the IR list, or, be forced to double the first two years of his salary in order to let him take the UBL court.
Many expect the team to simply double Soo's contract, however if the team (who drafts him) is in need of cap room for free agency or close to the hard cap, missing him completely or letting the young phenom rott on the IR for 2 seasons is a real possibility.

The hype surrounding the son of the greatest basketball player of all-time, Jeffrey Jordan has somewhat faded to a point where scouts are questioning the young shooting guards position in the top 20. Entering the league with ratings of C+ C+ C C+ C- B, Jordans array of skills have been severely downplayed by many respected NBA scouts.
"He is athletic, there is no doubt about that. He can get to the basket, yes. However, Jordan has a terrible three point shot.". Another scout contrasted that view however, saying "So what, Jeffrey cant hit the 3 at all, however his father wasnt a renown 3 point shooter."
