I agree with what NOH said about PMs- its rare that I ever get replies from most unless I send 2 or 3 PMs. There are exceptions though- most being the GMS who have replied in this thread

As long as we are throwing out ideas- I know itd be a lil bit more work and take a lil more time but how about this:

1. Clear out any GMs that you see fit. Replace them with GMs that can be recommended from a current GM in the league.

2. Once we have a full set of GMs again, assign each a number using a random number generator. Or just draw from a hat. Whatever floats your boat.

3. Hold a draft. Each GM is matched up to the respective draft position with the number they were assigned. No protections on any players (up for discussion) and that way the GMs are switched up but are still random.

Or we could keep goin. Or restart. Any is fine by me. But I agree James has put alot of hard work into the draft files.

I think though if we are going to be going by GM choosing it should be the overall standings right now for this year which is fair.

I think we should restart. No one will trade for anyone who's over 26 years old, it's just retarded. All anyone's block is about is.. "looking to get younger" or "looking for picks". Plus no leagues stay open forever, I think we got a solid group of GMs, just need a restart or something.

There's other things we could do. If we're not gonna do a re-start, we could do something like this:


Get new GM's for the teams that are inactive or whatever. Everyone keeps the team that they currently have now. Each teams unprotects 4 players on their roster, and we have a draft with those players. This would have to be in the offseason, so players signed to MLE's, LLE's or MIN's can't be unprotected, so there'd be some decent players in the draft. It would be a 4 round draft, where every team get's 4 players. That way, we can keep the league going with current rosters, and still get new players and a new variety of things.

i wouldn't mind a restart, people are getting too stingy with their players. I'd probably be in favor of this more than anything else. James can still do his draft thing, this time he can do it a little differently if he likes and it should be easier if he saved his draft files.

People are getting too scared to make offers or something...sometimes people DON'T answer their PMs and when they say that they like some players, they don't wanna make an offer. I mean, frig, stop being a pussy and make a friggin offer. This should be a two-way street, I barely get offered anything...all i hear is 'make me an offer, i like these guys'.

West GMs are no worse than East GMs, I made 2 major trades this season (to get Duncan, and to ship Duncan...the latter made me a better team so stfu).

I've been slacking on activity, but as GM I've tried every DC in the book to get back on track. I finally am, you better not include me in that list of slacking West GM's.

And god dammit Play, everytime I'm in a league with you I get a good ass team and it fucking shuts down. In NBAE I went from 3rd worst to a top 5 team, then it shuts down. Here, I steal Mayo and have nice young talent and now you want to shut it down.

But since I will do it AGAIN, you can go ahead and restart. I know what its like to run an inactive league where it feels like your wasting your team. I for one haven't been active, and have stayed around because of friendships in the league (and Mayo). If your gonna restart, go ahead. If not, go ahead.

But all FBB leagues get old eventually, maybe a fresh start will help. oh yeah, LMFAO @ this turning into BDSL
