Notes
He is a do it all player. The Hornets franchise is in safe hands with Paul running this team. A 3:1 assist:to ratio will only get better with more experience. Once he gets consistent with his outside shot, the league will be at his mercy.
Best Case Scenario: Isiah Thomas

2) Name: Marvin Williams
Position: SF
Season Stats: 14.2 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.1 spg, 2.3 tpg, 44% fg

Notes
Marvin is probably one of the smoothest players on the court. Everything he does just looks natural. The signing of Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler has taken the spotlight away from him but its pretty clear that the franchise wants Marvin to be its main guy. He is the kind of guy who will be a top 10 player in every major statistical category
Best Case Scenario: Kevin Garnett

3) Name: Fran Vasquez
Position: PF
Season Stats: 17 ppg, 9 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1 bpg, 2.3 tpg, 43% fg

Notes
Fran is a great combination of power and finesse. He is carrying the sorry Grizzlies team on his back. The stats are a bit misleading at this point in his career but there is no reason he won’t be a consistent 20/10 career guy. Juniah should think about sending Fran to a few camps and improve his defense.
Best Case Scenario: Pau Gasol

4) Name: Deron Williams
Position: PG
Season Stats: 12 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7.8apg, 1.4 spg, 2.3 tpg, 47% fg

Notes
His size along gives him an advantage over most of the point guards in the league. He can see over defenses with ease and take on smaller guards with his size. He is going to be a shut down defender, capable of locking down the best opposition guard. The Jazz seem to have a knack for great pgs and deron is surely a player. He is going to give Chris Paul a run for the All Rookie team honours
Best Case Scenario: Jason Kidd

5) Name: Jarrett Jack
Position: PG
Season Stats: 13.9 ppg, 3 rpg, 6.1 apg, 1.1 spg, 2.3 tpg, 45% fg

Notes
Jack is a great backcourt duo for Martell. He is a great communicator on the court and create very well for teammates. He seems to struggle against the top tier point guards in the league but that may just be inexperience. His play has secured him a starting pg position in the league for years to come. The Blazers are competing and Jack is a big part of the success
Best Case Scenario: Tim Hardaway

6) Name: Martell Webster
Position: SG
Season Stats: 13.9 ppg, 6 rpg, 3.6 apg, 0.7 spg, 2.1 tpg, 41% fg

Notes
The Blazers have made it clear that Martell is their guy and given him the reigns of the franchise. He is their go to guy but there are a lot of question marks surrounding his talent. He has one of the cleanest jumpshots in the league. I don’t think he’s missed more than 2 wide open jumpers up to this point but there isn’t much else he brings to the table. He has managed 14 ppg on 41% shooting. There are many areas he can improve. He better do it before the league starts getting in his face and taking that sweet stroke away from him.
Best Case Scenario: Allan Houston (prime)

7) Name: Ike Diogu
Position: PF
Season Stats: 12.3 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.1 bpg, 2 tpg, 42% fg

Notes
The injury to Troy Murphy had the Warriors looking very weak in the frontcourt until Ike showed “he got game”. Ike is averaging a double double on the season. The guy battles night in and out on the court and single handedly held the fort in the paint in Murphy’s absence. He is a player to be reckoned with because he plays for respect. Guys like him are key championship pieces.
Best Case Scenario: PJ Brown

8) Name: Channing Frye
Position: C
Season Stats: 11.1 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.1 spg, 2 bpg, 1.9 tpg, 46% fg

Notes
Channing has been a godsend for the depleted Knicks frontcourt. He always plays hard and his length helps him deflect or disrupt a number of shots in the paint. Frye will be among the league leaders in blocks for years to come. He is already a great rebounder. Once the offensive game comes around, the Knicks will have a solid big man on their hands.
Best Case Scenario: Theo Ratliff w/ offense

9) Name: Andrew Bogut
Position: C
Season Stats: 10 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.1 bpg, 1.6 tpg, 44% fg

Notes
Bogut has been very disappointing this year. As the # 1 pick, he was supposed to come in and help right away but he has had trouble adjusting his game to the next level. The focus has been taken away from his development for now as the bucks are trying to make the playoffs. He will only get better.
Best Case Scenario: Brad Miller

10) Name: Orien Greene
Position: PG
Season Stats: 10.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 7.5 apg, 1.8 spg, 2.4 tpg, 42% fg

Notes
The Celtics needed some love in these rookie rankings and Oriene is the perfect guy for that. He has been playing stellar basketball this year and shooting the lights out from the 3 pt land. On the season, oriene is shooting 51% from 3. Unfortunately, it hasn’t turned into wins as the Celtics have the worst record in the league.

ya um, Bogut hasnt been a dissapointment and teh Bucks rnt looking to make the playoffs lol.

U shouldnt get 50 points when u get shit wrong.

I kept my first rounder this season, hoping to get a lotto pick and as long as we keep losing. We got ourselves a nice little lotto. Alston got hurt and that really helped us make our way towards the bottom.

Bogut has had limited minutes and isnt optioned. 10 points in 29 minutes i feel is very good for a rookie Center who is a non option. Considering we haev a pretty good rebounding team his 7.8 reboudns is good because they get spread on our team alot.

The only knock i have on Bogut right now is that he is shooting only 42.8%, but he is young and can improve on that.

Unlike the teams with rookies that have inflated stats, we r slowly letting our rookies come into their own isntead of banking our hopes on our rookie and possibly caushing them to have severe depression too.

he was picked 1st overall and hasn't done shit to warrant him that status...his play has been iffy for a 1st rounder. that's all so anything higher than #9 won't be fair to the guys before him
