when i started this draft, i had a top 10 list and my top 10 went top 10 in the actual draft but in different order ofcourse..i was hoping someone would take manja before me though since i have my doubts that he would bust....its funny that i ended up with manja on the board when 10th roll around....i did not want to take him because of the bust thing...i was looking at sergio really hard because i needed a pg but someone like manja is just too good to pass up on..those ratings, age, the potential...the bottom line is that i would rather take a risk at someone like manja than go with a safe pick who might not even turn out to be that good...manja has better ratings than sergio already and he has that great size to go along with it Sergio I have him and I am happy.. I thought the same thing with Manja but here is the thing Sergo and Nema are both big prospects..Plus 1 year isnt a big difference as they are both in there teens. |

Felton could easily become a 20/10 PG... he has Kobe on the side, and Mason running the break. Not to mention the two big fellas in Bynum and Marty down low. If I didn't have the 4th pick, Im still pretty confident he would go top 5 no doubt.

He's the thing about it though. He went up against a bunch of other rookies. Do you think he'll do anything like that aganist a player like Duncan or Brand? This also reminded me of something. A young PF put up 27/9 in the UBDL. He's young and has A potential. Do you feel he should go above Gay if he was in the draft? You should know who i'm talking about Dane. Agreed and no of course not.. I wanted him though because its hard finding a young PF who has a good inside game already most of them have C+ inside Oh, I know why you wanted him. I'm just saying. He went up aganist the type of players Aldridge went up aganist (for the most part anyways). I wouldent take him over Gay though. Also, both Aldridge and the dude you have could be the same sorta players down the line. Both could be good scorers, solid defenders and rebounders. Neither really good shot blockers. In that way, Aldridge type players are also avaliable right now, of course not in the extent that Gay type players are of course. |

I would take Gay over him. I would know 100% sure that Gay has more chance to develop into a superstar then him. You are right Aldridge and the guy are a like.. I get what you are saying now... Most owuld think Gay would develop 100% more then Aldridge.. just like I think Gay would develop over my guy |

If I had the 1st overall, of course I would take go with Gay... or Dwash because I really needed a PG. Needless to say, Im happy with Felton... my SN finally makes sense.

Really though I was trying to say Wing players are the most easy to get but Big men are harder so that should play a fact in who you should draft.. but again who drafts for position? Not me as I would have drafted Hassan Adams at 9 if I still have Bron. LEts face it Hassan is pretty good looking at his ratings now.. He may drop but I still think he is better then 9th..

I was trying to trade for the 3rd/4th pick to get Darius Washington, because then i could have kept Deng as well. The FA class was full of big name big men, so i thought id risk it by taking Gay with #1, instead of Lemarcus. I did get lucky in FA though, ill admit
