Center
Player: Tyson Chandler
Team: Atlanta Hawks
Key Statistics: 14.4ppg, 12.5rpg, 3.7bpg
Why? Chandler is a defensive beast and leads the league in shot blocking. He is the perfect big man and will not take the ball off my 3 dream guards. Chandler is another player whos potential makes them even more valuable than what they already are. Pairing him with another defensive orientated power forward would be an absolutly sick front court.
Backup: Johan Petro
Power Forward
Player: Sean May
Team: Detroit Pistons
Key Statistics: 9.0ppg, 11.9rpg, 2.0bpg
Why? May is incredible, he has an amazing row of defense, rebounding and potential that makes him deadly. Already a rebounding force, May struggles a little bit on the offensive end however makes up for it most defeinetly on the defensive end. The potential to develop is what really appealed to me about May.
Backup: Andrew Bogut
Small Forward
Player: Rudy Gay
Team: Chicago Bulls
Key Statistics: 18.0ppg, 6.9rpg, 4.6apg, 2.1spg
Why? Gay is almost a younger version of Ron Artest. He is a defensive beast and can flat out score. The scariest thing about Gay however is the fact that he is only 23 and still has A potential. I can see him being a 25, 7 and 5 player somewhere in about 3 years or so, this man is just a machine and developed way past my original vision I had of this guy.
Backup: Nemanja Aleksandrov
Shooting Guard
Player: Gerlad Green
Team: Boston Celtics
Key Statistics: 20.1ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.3apg
Why? Green is my favorite player in the whole league. I could have had my dream 1-2-3 combo if I didnt deal my pick to Chicago in where Gay went number 1. Even so, pairing Green with Gay and the eventual Earl Clark would be a tall, athletic and black back court that would simply dominate now and into the future. Greens ability to score and athletisism make him absolutly awesome.
Backup: Wayne Ellington
Point Guard
Player: Earl Clark
Team: Philadelphia 76ers
Key Statistics: 15.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 4.8apg, 2.1spg
Why? I hate to put my boy Daniel Gibson as this positions backup but I just love Earl Clark so much, mainly due to the fact that he is a 6'9" point guard who in the future is a possible 15, 10 and 8 player. Clark is 19 and already posseses the leagues most deadliest, or one of the leagues most deadliest handles. He is a great defender, however just needs to work on his jump shot before he can become a true force. He will never be a superstar in this league due to his lack of an offensive game unlike Gibson, however at the moment, the appeal of possibly putting up a triple double is just to good to knock back.
Backup: Daniel Gibson
