(Seattle) - The youth movement is in full effect in Seattle. Young players Julian Wright, Derrick Rose, Josh McRoberts, and fan favorite Mardy Collins look to lead this team into the future. Rose and McRoberts will most likely spend time in the D league with the recent acquisitions of Damon Jones and Shareef Abdur-Rahim. McRoberts is an athletic power forward who has been heralded as the white chris webber. He can hit the outside shot and throw it down on anyone. Derrick "Pooh" Rose looks to take over for Luke Ridnour when he gets the chance. This cat can flat out score and make highlight reel dunks in the process. More of a SG who can pass the ball, look for Rose to play both guard positions during his career.

Now on to the big guns, Julian Wright and Mardy Collins. Analysts rave about Collins, because of his versitilty and consistency. He shoots a great percentage and can handle the ball as well as some Pgs. Using a strong workout regimen over the summer, Collins expects to soon be one of the leagues most all around players. And to serve as his complement, in comes 4th pick Julian Wright. Wright came into the draft with the mindset that he was a top pick. Although disappointed he fell, it only make him work harder in the offseason. During training camp he improved his defense and his inside scoring. With Rashard Lewis still in the fold, Wright's role will be limited to playing reserve minutes. Wright thinks he will win the job, "They didn't draft me for nothing. There best player is a SF and they drafted me, so that says either two things. But I have much respect for Rashard and I hope to learn from him...while he's here."
