The kings resurrected
After another disappointing season for the Sacramento kings, GM "Matt" decided to trade some of his youth for veterans to help then win right away. The kings had much promise with a great young team but was tired of sitting around and waiting for them to develop. So what he did was to get very busy in the off-season and to build around the ex-Gonazaga star Adam Morrison.
The kings started off in Free agency by getting Shot Blocker Theo Ratliff and solid pg Steve Blake. Right before the season started Matt traded away last years DPOTY “Tyson Chandler” and one of the best young pg’s in “Kirk Hinrich” for the leagues most dominate player “Shaq”, veteran “Andre Miller” and 2 future 1st round draft picks. Right after the Shaq trade finally went through he still had move trades to accomplish. In the next blockbuster deal Sacramento sent Ben Gordon to Boston for of the best guards in the league “Vince Carter”. It was hard to see Ben go but Vince is a step above him and he is a fan favorite, so ticket sales should also rise for his high flying dunks. Since then they have also picked up Nate Robinson, Luther Head, and Joey Graham for late 1st rounders.
Matt was quoted for saying “Im very excited about our turnaround and have high hopes on this years team. I mean Morrison is gunna be a beast, Shaq is gunna keep dominating in the paint frye is gunna shut down he opposing teams PF’s, Vince is gunna light Arco Arena on fire, and Nate and Dre will continue to distribute the ball and control the game tone.
