Newly acquired LA Lakers GM, aigatdula was recently hired to try and turn the team around... and the moment he was appointed, he got to work....
He analyzed the team and figured that the team was playing individually centered of course on superstar, Kobe Bryant, who could blame them... He got game!!!
The new GM said, well lets try to mixed things up and try to move some guys....
Trade #1:
Mike James for Tayshaun Prince: Lakers are looking for some younger blood and Mike James is not contributing on that so he was dealt..., dealt to a SG/SF that was very seldomly used in the Jazz bench. The new GM said, hey we could use this guy in defense, so we brought him to the team.
Trade #2:
Still the GM saw the team needs more firepower and less individual play, so in a bold move... he put their superstar, Kobe Bryant in the trade block and just like hot cake, he was swarmed with offers coming from different teams (Bulls, 76ers, Mavs, Kings, etc).... The GM tried every tactical knowledge he learned to squeeze the most value he could get for Kobe. He finally found a deal he liked...

He brought in a veteran and some solid and young prospects to help the team out... It was adois to Kobe and hello VC for Tinseltown...
When VC was asked, how do you feel coming into Tinseltown? VC replied with a grin.. "I'm very happy to be in the land of stars, specially with my good buddies Adam and Chan"
On the other hand, Kobe was also asked how he felt about the trade, " I am very excited to play with Shaq again, its been years". When asked about possible feuds with the big guy, he replied "We are both mature now, i don't think it'd hinder us professionally, we are both here to win".
