A newly turned point guard, Kobe will have to lead the Kings deep into the playoffs and remain neutral at the end of the season for his value on the market to increase or remain stable. Trade Value matt not better preformance. Kobe is obviously the better player but not that many would gut their team for him because he has D potential and is old. Trust me Kobe in the 20's is good because I really wouldnt give up Louis Williams or Serigo for Kobe because he is getting older.

Heh, I can't get a big man with a player that's 31 on this list and another that's 18. Sucks.

Thats a hell of a deal actually but I dont want it to happen especially with the way Dwight is playing... or why dont you try to get Kris Humphries for Walker type deal. Have you tried Kris for Walker? or are you not willing to do that.

Me and igob are talking. He wants Williams/Walker and i'm kinda hesitant on it. I feel like i'm getting raped there. I've talked to Dallas about Kris but, well, one deal seems like to much and the other seems just fine but I dunno about it. I'm also looking to land a SF if I get Dwight but the 2 guys I PMed havent responded to me. Sucks big time.

Ok I have something to say.... I must say im rather sick of this bs of saying trade value is almost bigger for telfair then it is for kobe.
FOR EXAMPLE
Lets be honest U have Tracy McGRady listed at 38....and Gerald Green at like 35 or som crap.. QUESTION Will gerald green ever have the ratings or production like Tmac...NO not ever. So how can u say he has a higher trade value when he will never be that good. Same thing with telfair etc. Its not like green or telfair r on rookie contracts here they have max deals and there DONE getting better. You need to re evaluate the meaning of trade value and actual talent at its peak because while tmac may be there so is telfair and green actually got worse this tc.
Just saying an example here as saying telfair or green has higher trade value then tmac or kobe is honestly just a joke

Agreed and thats the thing people depend on age most of the time then how good the player is gonna be most of the time. I know that the Raptors probably wouldnt have traded Marcus + J.R. + others for Kobe because they would say Kobe is 31 and really there isnt a point in getting him. Thats what happens most of the time.
