Seattle Changes Logo, Colors

New Supersonics Mascot
(Seattle) - The once famous gaming company, Sega, has bought the Seattle Supersonics. In an effort to renew interest in the team, they have also decided to make some cosmetic changes. The teams colors will now be Yellow and Red, With Yellow being the primary color. The Sonics have also named Sonic the Hedgehog as their new mascot. OJ Mayo said, "I used to play Sonic all the time when I grew up. Everybody had a Genesis back in the day, and I used to whoop Billy Walkers ass."
The new logo is a silloutte of Sonic the Hedgehog as "Supersonic". While it may be seen as a stupid idea, it relates more to a Supersonic than simply an S with a city background. Starbucks reportedly was interested in buying the company, but League execs feared they would proceed to stamp their logo on every product in site. Anxious fans with tons of coffee in the 4th quarter of a game don't mix very well.

Ovinton J'Anthony Mayo averaged 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists during preseason while shooting over 50% from the field. When reporters asked Seattle coach Gary Payton what he thought of Mayo, he said, "He's even better than me. Hands down, the best point guard in the game."
