Hello, everyone and welcome to another audition of Fact or Fiction. We have 2 GM's going in 2 different directions. The Boston Celtics are one of the best young teams in the UBL and the Phoenix Suns just won the UBL tittle a couple months ago.
InfamousDane: Alright, guys lets get this thing started.
1. Fact or Fiction. The 76ers had the best draft out of every team. I mean Earl Clark, Victor Claver, Rajan Rondo and Ante Tomic are great prospects. One of them are going to turn into a star in the near future.
The 76ers better hope this guy turns into the next Magic Johnson.
James: Fiction: Clark improved, so did Rondo and Claver but it was expected, but Tomic declined which wasnt good news. Plus, its not really that hard to have a good draft when you have three first round picks inside the top six.
Seergobin: Fiction - 6ers had an AWESOME draft, but bottom line for me? Celts have Daniel Gibson and he'll someday easily be the best player out of this class, and for that reason the Celtics had the best draft.
2. Fact or Fiction. Tony Parker is a top 5 point guard in this league after he had a great training camp. As well he is the best young point guard in the league right now under the age of 24.
James: Fact: Parker is a premier point guard who boasts A+ handles and A- scoring and is easily amongst the top 5 best point guards in the UBL at the moment. The fact that he still has A potential makes him even more lethal, I just feel sorry for Jarret Jack who could start for 50% of the teams in the league at the moment.
Seergobin: Fact - Tony Parker is the brightest young passer this league has seen - Given the proper pieces to work with, Parker will show that he is capable of taking a team on his back and leading them to the promised land.
Dallas is happy with the development of Tony Parker, so far.
3. Fact or Fiction. Jermaine O'Neal is officially, the best power forward in UBL after working hard to be better then Shaq.
James: Fact: Jermaine has definitely being working hard and it has paid off with him developing into not only one of the best centers in the UBL, but also one of the best players. His strong defensive ratings paired with his A inside exemplify this.
Seergobin: Fiction - Ummm... If you mean Center? Then yes - I'd agree Jermaine is now at the pinacle of 5's in this league, even Big Diesel will admit that. If you're talking Power Forwards, like you said, I'm still taking Tim Duncan and his superior rebounding and basketball IQ over Jermaine.
4. Fact or Fiction. Dwyane Wade is and will always be better then LeBron James in the UBL. However, this is about pure skill and stats not championships.
James: Fact: This question makes no sense.
InfamousDane: Well, James let me break it down for you. Basing it only on numbers who would you rather have Dwayne Wade or LeBron James. I know I would rather Dwayne Wade, but many still feel LeBron is a lot better. Counter the championship would easily make Wade better. However, comparing the 2 seasons the have been in the UBL who has put up more productive numbers?
Seergobin: Faction- I know it would be easy to be biased here, but I'll try not to be. I would LOVE to have Bron here and to me these two superstars SHARE the role of taking the UBL into the next generation. However, DWade has proven that he can lead a team from the PG position and average double digit assists while still getting his on the offensive end, and shutting down PG's on D - that's not an easy task... Bron however has been a steady triple double threat every night - also not an easy task... but... Fuck your last comment there - Wade led a team through some incredible 7 game series and won this team the UBL Championship, Untill Bron can do the same, I'll give the slight nod to Wade
Who is that guy in the middle? Who knows, but LeBron and Wade are 2 great young stars.
InfamousDane: Come on Seer.. There is no such thing as Faction.. Who cares LeBron is a great player and neither would be a wrong choice. You just pissed me off there man. Can't even pick which hoe you want when you know they both are good at giving head. Anyways.
5. Fact or Fiction. Even though Danny Granger developed in the 1st two season, he won't be anything but a great 6th man.
Is Danny Granger for real? Or is he a fake that has bust written all over.
James: Fiction: I can see Granger developing into someone better than just a 6th man due to his versatility and offensive weapons, possessing the ability to play inside and outside. Grangers superior height for a 2 man, strength for a 3 man and speed for a 4 man makes him an intriguing prospect.
Seergobin: Fiction- Granger can be an integral part of a contending team, he's solid, can contribute in nearly every aspect of the game and would fit nicely on a team with stars at other positions. Don't count this dude out.
6. Fact or Fiction. A team that is rebuilding in the UBL would rather have Petro as there starting young big man instead of Kris Humphries, LeMarcus Aldridge and other young big men. (Under the age of 21)
James: Fiction: I think both players you have highlighted are just as good if not better than Johan Petro. Aldriege is a great inside scorer, as with Humprhries. Both are just as good defenders and rebounder's, so taking Petro over either LeMarcus or Kris would be a tough and possibly questionable decision. In saying that, Greg Oden rules them all.
Seergobin: Fiction- Petro is a guy I don't like, sorry Nuggets but Petro IMO will never be a contributer on the offensive, nor a dominant force on defense... Where does that leave him? Eh... solid young prospect, but nothing more.
InfamousDane: Eh.. you are a really Canadian Eh?
7. Fact or Fiction. Now that the Wizards big men had a lot better TC they will reclaim what will and should have been theirs, the UBL championship.
James: Fiction: Honestly, I don't see the Wizards winning another championship, and I don't even think they had the most talent in the league when they won it, just chemistry.
Seergobin: Fiction The Wizards didn't lose that title on under the basket, they lost it because Wade dominated and their go to scorers let them down when it mattered. The Suns bring back their same starting 5, but in the one area they lacked last year - the bench, they come back stronger than ever. The additions of Grant Hill, Micheal Olowokandi, Bradley, West, Williams and others combined with a lethal starting unit should easily keep Phoenix the early bet to repeat.
Are these guys now underdogs, after just winning the title 2 years ago?
InfamousDane: James.. you didn't like them from the start? Alright, you so called bad boy. As for Seergobin, screw the Suns new players. They suck balls and you will not repeat count it
8. Fact or Fiction. Dwight Howard is much better and will always be better then Greg Oden, no matter what point of their career they are at.
Greg Oden or Dwight Howard, which one would you choose?
James: Fiction: Greg Oden this season will give Dwight Howard a run for his money. Oden stepped into the league as one of the most talented and hyped up players since the draft that contained LeBron James. Already, Oden is a great inside scorer, defender and rebounder and may possibly have a better season than Howard at this early stage in his career.
Seergobin: Fiction - It's WAY to early to make that statement, Oden shows the early signs of a great post game, defense and rebounding - With the proper development and coaching Oden will easily challenge Howard shortly... Overtake him? we'll see.
9. Fact or Fiction. Like a lot of big men high school player, they bust and never learn how to adjust to the NBA life. Andrew Bynum will be like most high school big men and won't be nothing more then a big man off the bench.
James: Fact: To an extent, Bynum very well may develop, however if he does it will only be a minor improvement.
Seergobin: Fact- Bynum's growth will be stunted due to the early exposure and dissapointment of being ineffective in his first few seasons - The result? He'll never develop a proper shot, handle or rebouding technique.
10. Fact or Fiction. Sean May will be one of the most improved players, after being a rookie last year.
James: Fact: May had a sensational training camp in Detroit and will most definitely be one of the leagues most promising prospects this season playing alongside newly acquired Wayne Ellington.
Seergobin: Fact- May has adjusted to the UBL game and is ready to show his stuff on the defensive end and with the boards. Offense will come along slowly as with many big men - but May won't care, hes about to become a feared defender and reliable rebounder.
InfamousDane: It was nice talking to both of you guys. Seergobin no hard feels, because you had some nice answers. James you "bad boy" nice talking to you. Everyone good night and enjoy the Fact or Fiction. Its not the Fact that matters... its the Fiction...haha I crack myself up. Anyways, goodnight to everyone in the burbs, or the hood or in the trailer park. Remember we still haven't found our MJ.
JO is looking to lead the disappointing Pacers to the promise land.
